從小在婚紗店長大的創辦者，看著每對新婚夫妻的幸福笑容，認為愛很簡單。長大後，發現愛看似理所當然；卻不再那麼容易。尤其當愛的人飽受憂鬱症所苦，才發現忽略了那份關懷。

「愛」有很多種。HALFOR創立於2018年，集結了對土地關懷的情感；人與人或物之間的情感，把平凡的事物精緻刻畫在所有設計中，透過「For 給予」的視角，在設計中融入「情感」，賦予最容易被忽略的單品—襪子，一個不一樣的意象。

Love comes in its various forms. We started Halfor to embrace emotions about land, people, optimism and love. From the perspective of "giving" and "sharing", we immerse these elements into our design. By engraving the ordinary things in life through elaborate designs, a different imagery is endowed to the most neglected item, socks.

Halfor = Half + For. The fundamental spirit we believe in is "giving" and "sharing", hence we blend this spirit into our design and products, to excite you and me to a better state toward perfection.

我們每半年都會設計一款愛心襪，捐給所需機構，藉由FOR給予的這份力量；分享愛。希望在企業的長期發展下，能把這份溫暖漸漸擴散出去，分享給在世界上每個角落的您們。
There will be a new pair of socks joining in our series of charity in every six months. We will donate our socks from this series to charitable groups those are in need. We hope this ripple of sharing will spread out through the rest of us.

設計
以人為出發點，串起人與這塊土地與生活的各種形式，實現在藝術的創作之中。並採用許多台灣特有動植物作為延伸，展現台灣的生命力。在設計元素上不分性別，強調每個人都值得獲得愛，享受被理解的感覺。
On the basis of humanity, we connect our ways of life and longing for our homeland, and carry out in form of artwork. We try to show the vitality of Taiwan in our designs on the extension of local endemic species in. Our design elements is not biased from sexuality, people deserve to be loved, to be understood, no matter who you are.
MATERIAL
材質
HALFOR的所有的紗線功能與比例都是經過反覆測試與比較，採用天然與可重複利用之紗線作為原料，堅持不以浸泡藥水的形式達到除臭功效，更加入涼感與吸排，著重於舒適度。
We utilize natural and reusable yarn as materials and improved functions of breathable & moisture-wicking to make our socks more comfortable. Moreover, we insist not soaking our socks in chemicals for odor-resistant purpose.

HALFOR使用機器為當前最新的無痕電腦對目機，高密度無縫編織，讓腳指頭不會因織線收尾的地方感到不適。透過標準化生產規格與每個環節把關，製造出品質優良且具有功能性的襪子。
With our advanced fully electronic control machines, via high-intensity seamless sewing construction, eliminates bulky toe seams for smooth comfort. Through process at standardization, we produce high-end quality and functional socks.
